Mad Men is a modern television show that essentially depicts life during the 1960s. This show is based on an advertising agency in New York City, and allows our modern day watchers to get a sense of fashion, culture, history in general and the business world then. It’s an amazing feeling to see the clothing they wore, because we can not only get a feel for their idea of fashion, but also see how much history repeats itself, and how much of the clothing items resemble the modern day fashionion set.
Since it is rather hard to find and actually wear a real 1960s piece of clothing or jewelry, we have personally looked up some amazing stores that anyone can shop at to find something that resembles the attire of their favorite Man Men character. Said places that are easily accessable and carry the best resemblance of the 1960s for a good price point are the Gap, Banana Republic & Baci Boutique on Mott Street, in NYC. Take a peek below!
